“America... the best traditions of your land presume respect for those who cannot defend themselves.
If you want equal justice for all, and true freedom and lasting peace, then, AMERICA, DEFEND LIFE!
All the great causes that are yours today will have meaning only to the extent that you guarantee the right to life and protect the human person . .”
Excerpts from the farewell ceremony address of Blessed Pope John Paul II , Detroit Airport, September 19, 1987.

There will be signs available at the above events or bring your own favorite pro-life sign, including homemade ones.
These are peaceful, non-partisan events, so please don’t bring any that mention a particular candidate or political party.
Restrictions on signs: Only poster-size, handheld signs will be allowed,
and the DNC security will not allow carrying anything with metal protrusions which could be used as a weapon.
The types of signs we normally carry are fine.
1. Q: Have all of the necessary police notifications and permits been obtained for these events?
2. Q: Are these planned pro-life events political in nature?
A: No. They are non-partisan with the pro-life message on the sanctity of life.
There will be thousands of people in Charlotte during DNC week, with delegates and protesters for a variety of causes,
and this is a unique, God-given opportunity to evangelize that message.
As far as signs, there are to be no endorsement or bashing of any particular candidate or political party.
3. Q: Could I get arrested?
A: Only if you show violent behavior. In that case, you are not welcome to participate in these events.
4. Q: What about bringing children?
A: Bring them!
According to Rev. Patrick Mahoney, Director of Christian Defense Coalition, who has been planning pro-life activities for every DNC since 1992,
it has continually been very positively impactful to the pro-life message and cause for pro-lifers to have their children involved and visible.
